Description

The Abtech Torq 2.4 is a small self-retracting lifeline designed to provide protection from falls from height. Anchored above the users center of gravity it gives the user a safe area of work. The retracting line pays in and out of the device allowing the user freedom of movement within the safe area.

In the event of a fall, the mechanism locks arresting the fall within 35cm (14 inches) and the integral energy absorber activates to minimise the force exerted on the user to below 6kN.

The swivel attached above the unit prevents the webbing from twisting. This swivel has an indicator that is activated in the event of a fall.

Note: This unit meets both ANSI and CE requirements for this type of equipment without the need for an external energy absorber.
